Objective:
To create a chatbot that would help onboard new employees in an organization/team or to increase employee engagement
Background
Onboarding Chatbot
The purpose of this Chatbot is to help with the onboarding of new employees
- helps with the welcoming of a new employee to a certain team
- can be programmed to send a notification to other teammates about the arrival of the new employee, option to send "wave" hello or welcome message
- team-building/creates camaraderie
- fun way to create a Zest profile
Starts by introducing itself, what it’s purpose is, and asks if the user wants to start the series of questions
- finishes when all the questions it is supposed to ask are answered
- OR when the user wants to end the conversation
- add feature to save and come back to the conversation
- makes the process less tedious, more adaptable to workflow
Engagement Chatbot
The purpose of this Chatbot is to help with employee engagement (with Zest and with each other)

Chatbot Personality
Zoe!
Every good chatbot needs a personality, otherwise people would not be driven to have conversations with it. I determined that the Zest chatbot would most likely be named Zoe. She'll be an icon of a lemon/lime ("Zesty") and would be sweet but kind of sassy too.
I centered the chatbot concepts around two areas of opportunity, onboarding and engagement. From there, I created a competitive audit of potential vendors ZestMeUp could partner with, as well as an initial question/answer bank and question mapping.
